And Yuki had been there for hours, sitting on the floor, staring at a blank canvas on an easel, motionless.
Jeanne instead had arrived only minutes before, but he had quickly realized the situation: a canvas strangely still white, and Yuki so focused in the looking it, for almost unaware of his arrival; she just put two and two. «I’m not a painter, but my intuition tells me that you’re stuck» she began.
Yuki kept her gaze from the canvas, but she replied: «You certainly have a phenomenal insight, ever thought to patent it?» Yuki was a sweet and sympathetic girl, but that doesn’t prevent her from knowing how to be sarcastic and biting, if necessary.
Jeanne was unimpressed that much, and replied with equal sarcasm. «I tried, but the patent office was closed.» Then, turning serious, she added: «I never seen you stuck on a painting, I was convinced you have an u
